What it does

Visual health timeline

A chronological view of every doctor visit, surgery, screening, and lab result — for every member of the family. Scroll back through years in seconds.

AI medication scanning

Point your iPhone at a pill bottle. The app reads the name, dosage, prescriber, and refill date and files it under the right profile.

Vaccine tracking

Childhood boosters, annual flu shots, travel vaccines — logged with photos of records. The next time school, work, or a border asks for proof, you have it ready.

Family profiles

Separate profiles for children, spouses, or elderly parents. Switch between them with a single tap — built for caregivers juggling multiple appointments.

Insurance cards & docs

Photograph an insurance card and the app extracts the data automatically. Attach lab PDFs, discharge papers, and receipts to specific events.

Daily medication dashboard

A daily command center: today's doses, upcoming appointments, vaccinations due in the next 14 days, and one-tap call/book buttons for your top providers.

Why HealthTrail is different

1

Your records, your phone

Every record is stored locally. There is no cloud, no account, no data broker. Your medical history is yours.

2

Built for the whole family

One app, every profile. Track your kids, your spouse, your aging parents, and yourself without juggling separate tools.

3

Designed for the doctor's office

When the nurse asks "when was your last tetanus shot?" or "what was that medication?", HealthTrail answers in two taps.

Frequently asked questions

What is HealthTrail Medical?

HealthTrail Medical is a native iPhone app that gives your family a single visual timeline of every medical event, medication, vaccine, lab result, and insurance card. Think of it as a shared digital "medical memory" — for you, your kids, your spouse, or your aging parents — that lives entirely on your device.

Is my health data really private?

Yes. Every record stays on your iPhone. There is no cloud sync, no analytics SDK, no third-party tracker, and no account that ties your medical history to a server. The app is on-device by design — your data leaves your phone only if you explicitly export or share it.

Can I track my whole family in one app?

Yes. Create a separate profile for each family member — children, spouse, elderly parents — and switch between them with a single tap. The dashboard has a profile-switcher row across the top so caregivers can move quickly between people during a busy appointment.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the app and start adding records. There is no signup, no email, no password, and no cloud lock-in.

How does the AI medication scanning work?

Point your iPhone camera at a pill bottle. HealthTrail uses on-device intelligence to read the medication name, dosage, prescriber, and refill date, then files the record under the right profile. You can edit anything before saving.

What does the timeline actually track?

Doctor visits, specialist appointments, surgeries, screenings (Pap smears, colonoscopies, mammograms), lab results, prescriptions and refills, vaccinations and boosters, insurance cards, and any photos or PDFs you attach to those events. Everything is chronological, searchable, and tied to a profile.

Can I share records with my doctor?

Yes. Export a clean Medical History Report as a PDF — properly named with the date — and email it, AirDrop it, or print it. You control what gets shared and with whom.

How much does it cost?

Free to download from the App Store. See the latest pricing and any in-app options on the App Store listing.
